We are pleased to announce the 11th ICRC-Minerva Conference on “Contemporary Challenges in International Humanitarian Law”

The conference will take place on Monday-Tuesday, 28-29 November 2016, and will gather legal experts from around the world. It is jointly organized by the Minerva Center for Human Rights at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, The Embassy of Switzerland in Israel and the Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Israel and the Occupied Territories.

Among participants, Bruno Demeyere, ICRC legal advisor in Geneva will present the updated Commentaries of the Geneva Conventions. Helen Obregon, also from the legal department in Geneva, will give a presentation on legal perspectives of migration.
