The aim is to increase knowledge and respect of International Humanitarian Law (IHL) and humanitarian principles.

IHL training to 245 Officers from AMISOM
Distributed the ICRC developed Code of Conduct on IHL in conflict to the Somali National Armed Forces (SNAF) for use in their basic training.
IHL training of trainer’s course to 20 Kenya Defence Force Officers
Contributed humanitarian and IHL inputs to the writing phase of Exercise Eastern Accord (35 East African Standby Force Officers in attendance).
