International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) spokesperson, Jake Kertzer, gave an interview to Kan 11 public broadcasting tv.

Kerzer spoke about the attempts to deliver medicine to the hostages held in the Gaza Strip, saying it was “very frustrating” that the organization was unable to deliver medicine. “Unfortunately Hamas dןג not allow us – but I promise we tried,” he said.

He also addressed the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip: “People in Gaza are fighting for their lives. There is not enough food, there is not enough medicine, access to water is limited. We are trying to make sure where the humanitarian aid that is coming in is going.”
