The spokesperson for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Israel, Gilad Grossman, was interviewed by Army Radio.
“Our role is very clear – to return the hostages safely to Israel so that they can be reunited with their families, their loved ones and their friends,” he said regarding the hostage release operations in the Gaza Strip.
In Regards to criticism about the way the releases operations are taking place, he said, “If it were up to us, the whole thing would be handled differently. We are in contact with all parties to ensure that each release operation takes place in the safest and most respectful way possible.”
