Magen David Adom (MDA) is a member of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent
Movement, together with about 190 other national societies.

The ICRC and MDA work together to strengthen the capacity of MDA’s staff and large network of volunteers in disaster preparedness and emergency response, with the ICRC providing financial and technical assistance. ICRC also supports MDA’s outreach efforts to vulnerable population on Israel’s peripheries, the deployment of MDA staff and volunteers to international emergency missions and the exchange of best practices with other national societies.
