Women have always played a crucial part in the Internarional Red Cross/ Red Crescent Movement.  Managing their families and careers and volunteering their time to help their communities, they have become role models and the source of inspiration for the the new generation of girls. On the International Women’s Day we would like to introduce some of them to you, knowing that there are many more working hard every single day as employees and volunteers to bring humanitarian aid to those in need.
