Since the outbreak of the war between Israel and Iran, teams from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) have been touring the various areas of Israel that have been hit by missiles to document the damage caused by the fighting.

We are also in constant contact with the authorities and our partners, including MDA, to explore ways in which the organization can assist in line with our commitment to helping the civilian population affected by conflict.

At the same time, we continue to work to assist populations affected by the fighting in the region over the past year and a half, with an emphasis on trauma victims and children at risk, through the projects we are partners in across the country.

International humanitarian law is designed to protect civilians in times of war, and to reduce the suffering they experience in war. We urge all parties to act to protect the civilian population and civilian infrastructure.
