National International Humanitarian Law Moot Court Competition. The team leader from the Midlands State University Faculty of Law presents his arguments before the panel of judges. The ICRC annually co-hosts the National International Humanitarian Law (IHL) Moot Court Competition with the High Court of Zimbabwe as part of the on-going partnership with academic institutions to improve knowledge and respect for IHL among future leaders and decision-makers in Zimbabwe. The University of Zimbabwe Faculty of Law won the National IHL Moot Court Competition for 2012 beating the Midlands State University Faculty of Law in a tightly fought contest held at the High Court of Zimbabwe. The panel of judges was chaired by Honourable Justice George Chiweshe, Judge President of the High Court of Zimbabwe.
