19 Arab women involved in education from Gush-Halav (Jish) in the upper Galilee graduated from Magan David Adom’s (MDA) community course. The course comprised 15 weekly sessions, focusing on first aid and home safety, and adapted to the specific needs of the participants’ community.
As part of their partnership, MDA and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) work together to bring MDA’s humanitarian activities to different populations and strengthen its response in remote areas. To this end, MDA reaches out to the various communities across Israel.
This is the principle of Unity, which emphasizes the commitment to be accessible to all, implemented by MDA. This principle is one of seven fundamental principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, which MDA has been a member of since 2006.
