The Annual Report of the ICRC is an account of our field activities conducted worldwide. Activities are part of our mandate to protect the lives and dignity of victims of war, and to promote respect for international humanitarian law.
The Annual Reports of the ICRC represent one of the most important public source of information on ICRC activities of the past years, as ICRC maintains a closure period of 50 years for general files and of 70 years for the other files. Beyond, the Annual Reports of the ICRC are a supplementary source of information to research in the archives open to the public.
