The key responsibilities of the position holder would be:

— Coordinates with the PRPM (Physical Rehabilitation Program Manager) the development and implementation of the physical rehabilitation activities.

— Maintains a high level of cooperation and coordination with the relevant technical counterparts and stakeholders.

— Assists the PRPM to monitor the PRP budget and overall expenditure in supported Centres.

— Represents the ICRC in meetings with the local authorities, international organisations, NGOs related to relevant PRP activities.

— Contributes to the implementation of the PRP strategy in the target states.

— Proposes appropriate changes to improve both the accessibility to services and the quality of the services.

— Conducts beneficiaries need assessment and stakeholders mapping related to the PRP assisted centres and program.

— Provides technical support to clinical personnel of the assisted centres.

Required qualification & experience:

— Ortho-prosthetist with minimum three years’ experience in management and planning, teaching/training.

— Good strategic and creative thinking and analytical skills.

— Leadership skills and capacity to support the assisted centres with an open management style.

— Good capacities of oral and written reporting.

— Good diplomatic negotiation skills.

— Ability to work within a team and under pressure.

— Very good inter-personal skills with a cheerful disposition.
